GulfAsia Trade & Logistics Alliance – Rules & Membership Conduct

1. Purpose of the Alliance

GulfAsia Trade & Logistics Alliance operates as a professional, non-transactional business networking platform designed to promote collaboration, visibility, and ethical engagement among trade and logistics companies across the Gulf and Asian regions.

The Alliance does not participate in commercial transactions, freight handling, or trade execution.

2. Membership Eligibility
  • Membership is open to legally registered companies operating in trade, logistics, or allied trade-support services.
  • Members must hold a valid trade or business license in their jurisdiction.
  • The Alliance reserves the right to approve, reject, or suspend membership applications based on relevance, credibility, and compliance.
3. Membership Categories & Access
  • Members are admitted under specific categories and plans based on their business profile and selected membership tier.
  • Access to features, visibility, and networking opportunities varies by membership plan.
  • Elite or application-based memberships are subject to eligibility review and management approval.
4. Directory Listings
  • All member listings must be accurate, truthful, and up to date.
  • Members are responsible for maintaining correct company information.
  • Misrepresentation of services, licenses, or business activities is strictly prohibited.
5. Use of the Alliance Platform

Members agree to:

  • Use the platform for professional networking and business engagement only
  • Refrain from spam, mass solicitation, or misleading outreach
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with other members

The platform must not be used for:

  • Unethical business practices
  • Illegal or restricted trade activities
  • Dispute escalation or public accusations
6. Non-Transactional Nature
  • The Alliance does not mediate disputes, guarantee payments, or enforce contracts between members.
  • All commercial engagements are conducted independently and at members’ own discretion.
7. Events & Engagements
  • Participation in events is subject to availability and membership tier.
  • Members are expected to follow professional conduct during forums, conferences, and meetings.
  • Promotional or sales-heavy behavior may be restricted at Alliance events.
8. Membership Fees & Validity
  • Membership fees are payable in advance and are generally non-refundable.
  • Membership validity, renewal terms, and upgrade options are defined by the selected plan.
9. Suspension & Termination

The Alliance reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership in cases of:

  • False representation or fraudulent activity
  • Repeated unethical conduct
  • Violation of Alliance rules or Code of Ethics
  • Actions that damage the reputation of the Alliance or its members
10. Amendments

The Alliance may update its rules periodically. Members will be notified of material changes through official communication channels.

1. Professional Integrity

Members shall conduct all business interactions with honesty, integrity, and transparency, both within and outside the Alliance network.

2. Fair Competition
  • Compete fairly and ethically
  • Avoid misleading claims, unfair pricing practices, or false market representation
  • Respect free and open competition
3. Compliance with Laws
  • Applicable trade, customs, and logistics regulations
  • Sanctions, export controls, and international trade laws
  • Local laws in their country of operation
4. Respect & Professional Conduct
  • Treat fellow members with respect and professionalism
  • Avoid defamatory statements or public disputes
  • Resolve disagreements privately and constructively
5. Confidentiality
  • Confidential business information shared during networking or introductions
  • Privacy of contacts, data, and commercial discussions

Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information is prohibited.

6. Anti-Corruption & Ethical Practices
  • Bribery, facilitation payments, or improper inducements
  • Corrupt or unethical business conduct

The Alliance promotes ethical trade and responsible business practices.

7. Responsible Use of Alliance Branding
  • Alliance logos, badges, and membership identifiers may only be used in accordance with issued guidelines.
  • Misuse or misleading representation of membership status is prohibited.
8. Conflict of Interest

Members should disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may affect fair engagement within the Alliance.

9. Accountability
  • Actions taken under their company name
  • Conduct of their representatives participating in Alliance activities
10. Ethical Commitment

By joining the Alliance, members acknowledge and agree to uphold this Code of Ethics and contribute to a trust-based, professional, and collaborative business ecosystem.
